Coilart Mage Mech 2 Stacked Edition Review – The Mage…stacked

The Coilart Mage Mech 2 Stacked Edition is, as the name suggests, the new version of the Coilart Mage, but with an extra tube in the box so you can stack it into a series mech tube for a theoretical 8.4V to the 510 connection….yeah, scary stuff…

As always with a Vaping With Vic review, you know that I have tested this item for at least a week, instead of reviewing it the day after it comes in…this channel always tests items first before reviewing.

Vaping With Vic is a self-employed review channel covering the market for electronic cigarettes (ecigs). Here on this channel, you will find me reviewing everything from small “starter” kits to help folks kick the tobacco habit, all the way up to the larger devices.

I received this product free of charge from the vendor or manufacturer for the purpose of review. This review is my personal experience with the product. As always, look at other reviews of the product to form your conclusion before you buy.

  1. It isn't for the spacing man. It is so the batteries will make a connection when stacking them. it isn't anything to do with the batteries touching the RDA. it is so the batteries make contact with each other. It is the safest way to do it I have seen. Most of the high-end mods use just a magnet stuck in between the batteries. I like that it has rubber to keep it from contacting the inside of the mod.

  2. people who buy mechs wanna know how hard it hits by comparison to other tubes or boxes and how much it drops voltage wise. not sure it's worth encouraging anyone else without giving them some reading material to scare the stupid right out of them.

  3. Great review Vic, it does look a great bit of kit. I wonder as it's a CoilArt Kit, why they didn't put an RDA in the box, thereby guaranteeing you have an RDA with a protruding 510 pin. Anyway, I liked it!

  4. great looking mod and a good price I think it will have to be one for my mech collection, but as all ready been said vic put the rda on before putting it on the top cap before putting on the mod battery safety vic as someone might do what you did and not be as lucky as you were mate.other than that good review as allway cheers

  5. For this I have my special triple coil Philippino RDA’s. If you coil those to come out at total .5 ohm, using kanthal round wire coils, you get a very comfy vape. Single coil is just asking for your tonsils getting nuked. 🙂

  6. Great review, as always. I would however recommend going 0.5 or higher. Fully charge batteries on a .3 would put you over 200 watts. A little warm for me.

  7. It's alright but I am picking up Bogans Bonza Mech Kit, which will be getting a stacked section a bit later after release of the Mech itself.

  8. the disc can't be considered a con it's there for a reason and coil art are not the only company that send them with there stacks! the only difference is that at least they send a spare which no other company does, and that includes the so called high end manufacturers that charge up to 4 – 5 times as much for there stacks! well done coil art for being brave enough to supply a true quality product with a proper box of spares at a price that we can afford!!

  9. They should have gave a screwable 510 top for the other tube and an extra button housing so you could also make the other tube to a mech so you would have 2 single battery mechs out of this kit. Fucking idiots…

  10. good review vic but u did not say how minny waps to put on the coils to get it at .3ons or .4oms & we all need to no how minny waps to do on the coils vic ?? from George in ireland

  11. Yeah Great Review Vic. I'm buying this as soon as I can..love my series mods..mech mods..love my noisy cricket, and my parallel incubus mod..good job.

  12. I think the Disk is a safty thing.
It gives you some rubber betven the batteries where plus and minus is in contact.
If.. god forbidd.. som moron puts a battery with a squished plus conection and bad wrapping in the mech that little rubber thing might be what saves them from a bad time…
    Youst my thought..

  13. The little disc used between the batteries is to make sure you have a solid contact between the batteries in stacked mode. If you have a set of batteries with heavy wraps or double wrapped they might not make good contact and arc between the contacts. It's a simple fix for a potential problem.

  14. OHHH MY GOD VIC always put the atty on a hybrid BEFORE installing batteries if you had accidentally hit that switch dead short 💥
